Thurs-Rosemary's for lunch 11am (It's between 7 and 8 dollars for the lunch special which includes a sandwich, drink, chips and soup, ice cream or shake. My kids will probably share the sandwich and I will buy and extra ice cream.)

Summer Calendar

We only finished the calendar for the Month of June. We needed more ideas for field trips, parks and pools. So leave a comment if you have an idea for July and Aug. I have really been wanting to read more, but I need some motivation. I know we've talked about it before, but who is REALLY interested in a little mommy book club? I don't mind being in charge to make the plans, but I need to know who's in?

On Saturday I will be hosting a facial/ micro derm abrasion party. I have a friend trying to get her 30 facials in 30 days done so she can get her . . .well to be honest I am not sure what she gets.  Any way it is totally FREE. I know I am up for some pampering and I am super excited for the micro derm abrasion part.  

We will be providing lot's of yummy treats.  So if you need a break from your kids & chores( I mean the heat) or just want some pampering, come and join me on Saturday July 26th @ 3pm.

I promise it will be fun!

FOR HIRE: THE MOST FABULOUS BABYSITTER EVER!!!

In case you missed it on my family blog, Heather Jackman moved in with us last week for the summer. We are so lucky to have her in our home for a few weeks. She has been our babysitter for many years and she is awesome!

She just completed her freshman year at ASU and is trying to save a little to move from the dorms to a great brand-new on campus apartment in the fall. Heather is a fabulous babysitter and I would trust her with anything! Please call if you need a sitter anytime!

BOOK CLUB

SO I figure if we already have 7 mommy's interested we should start something.
FIRST, who wants to head this up? (DANA???)
NEXT, We need to decide when to meet, how often, where, when and of course what to read.
My silly idea was to read a book that already has a movie out or soon to be coming out. What do you think? For example, I read the Kite Runner a long time ago when it came out, but I have not watched the movie. There have been so many lately that come to mind: Memory Keepers Daughter, Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, The Other Boleyn Girl, I could go on and on....and of course the highly anticipated TWILIGHT. I prefer to read a book before I see the movie, so I thought if I had a timeline and a date with some girlfriends I might actually get my reading list done and culminate with a movie night. Any takers with this idea?

Or we could just do a traditional book club and meet at someones house or a restaurant once a month or so. Please YES voters give me your ideas and someone (DANA?) please feel free to take this one on.
